CeLabs / Legal
Cookie Policy
This policy describes the cookies CeLabs uses on celabs.io, how the consent banner works, and how you can decline.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we set on celabs.io, when we load the Meta Pixel, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies we set
Until you Accept or Decline, we do not set a consent cookie and we do not load advertising scripts. After you choose, we may set:
- celabs-consent — a first-party cookie (and a matching localStorage value) with the value
acceptedordeclined, path/, lasting about one year. It remembers your choice so the banner does not return on later visits to first-party pages such as the homepage, Buoy, Family First, Bright Talks, and Sleepvale. - Meta Pixel cookies — after consent, Meta may set advertising cookies such as
_fbpand related identifiers through Facebook’s scripts. These help measure ads that bring people to this site. The Pixel ID we use is1585046645803665.
Your browser may also store strictly technical data needed to load pages. We do not currently run a separate product-analytics tool such as PostHog on this site.
The consent banner
On a first visit, a CeLabs cookie banner appears across first-party pages until you Accept or Decline. It says:
We use cookies on this site to enhance your user experience. By clicking any link on this page you are giving your consent for us to set cookies.
Read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Accept and Decline are the choice. Clicking Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy does not count as consent and does not dismiss the banner. Other links on the page are not treated as consent while the banner is up. Accept persists your choice and loads the Meta Pixel. Decline persists your choice and we never load the Meta Pixel or Facebook’s fbevents.js script.
Once you have chosen Accept or Decline, the banner does not return on later visits unless you clear this site’s cookies and stored data in your browser.
Meta Pixel and ads measurement
The Meta Pixel (pixel ID 1585046645803665) is used so we can understand which advertisements bring people to celabs.io. After consent, it may record a PageView and, on a successful Buoy waitlist join, a Lead event. Meta is a third party. Its use of the information it receives is also governed by Meta’s own policies.
How to decline
Click Decline on the cookie banner. That persists your choice and we do not load the Meta Pixel. You can also use your browser’s cookie and tracking settings to block cookies for celabs.io and third-party domains such as facebook.net and facebook.com.
If you already chose Accept or Decline, you can clear cookies and site data for celabs.io (including the celabs-consent cookie and localStorage) to see the banner again. Blocking cookies in your browser may also prevent the Pixel from loading or from remembering you. Disabling cookies can affect how some parts of a site work.
