The service
Daylight is meant to help block gambling sites and supported apps, and to let you share chosen information with someone you trust. It is not medical care, counseling, or a crisis service. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services. In the US, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-522-4700.
Using the site
Use the site for personal, lawful purposes. Don’t try to break, scrape, or misuse it, and don’t use it to harm someone else. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
No guarantee of a perfect block
Blocking tools can miss sites, apps, and new domains. A blocked connection does not prove what a person intended, and a gap in protection does not prove the opposite. Daylight is an aid, not a guarantee.
Accountability partners
If the app is offered, you choose whether to invite a partner and what they can see. They may use that information only to support you. They may not use it to harass, punish, or control you. You can change what is shared.
Our material
The Daylight name, the pages, the illustrations, and the layout belong to Daylight except where a credit says otherwise. You may not copy them for your own product. You may share a link to this site.
Disclaimer
The site and anything shown on it are provided “as is.” The app is not ready. To the fullest extent ordinary law allows, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limits
To the extent ordinary law allows, Daylight is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you or someone else makes after using the site. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes
Because the app is not ready, these terms are subject to change. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.
