We do collect your email address when you give it to us, for example to hear when the app is ready.
We will not sell your email, or any personal information, to third parties.
What this website collects
Like most sites, the browser may receive ordinary technical data when you visit: the page requested, a rough time, and the device and browser type needed to show the page. We use that only to run and protect the site.
When you send us a message or join the list, we collect the email address you provide, and any name you include with it. We use that email only to reply and to tell you when the app is available. We do not sell it.
What the app is designed to handle
If the app is released, it would be built to collect only what protection and accountability need:
- Account details you provide, such as a name and email.
- Which devices you choose to protect, and whether protection is on.
- The sharing choices you make, and the activity types you agree to show a partner.
- Support requests you send, such as a note that you need help.
The app is not designed to read your messages, see your bets, or look at bank balances. A partner would see only what you agree to share.
How information is used
To provide the service you asked for, keep protection working, show a partner only the agreed items, answer support requests, and tell you when the app is ready. We do not use your email for advertising. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Who it is shared with
An accountability partner, and only the items you turn on. Service providers who host or support the product, bound to use it only for that work. Authorities, if the law requires it. We do not share your information for other people’s marketing.
Cookies
The site may use a small amount of storage in your browser so pages work, such as remembering a choice you made. You can clear cookies in your browser. Blocking them may limit parts of the site.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the reason it was collected, and then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete information you sent us, unless we have to keep it for a legal reason.
Security
We use ordinary safeguards appropriate to a product of this kind. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Children
Daylight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
The app is not finished, so this notice can change. If it does, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
